Showing you the way to Youngblood
Buon giorno! Benvenuti in estate! That’s Italian for “Good day, and welcome to Summer!” Why Italian? Because Youngblood was recently in Bologna, Italy, for an international trade show, and what fun we had. The culture is phenomenal, the food simply exquisite, and the makeup ... about to hit it big internationally. It was a very good show.
Speaking of good shows, we’ve also been to Dallas, to the ICE Spa where we showed off our Breathe New Life into Skin products, including the new summer releases, and where Philip Luque (our Education Director) taught a class by the same name to spa and salon owners. In New York, at the professionals-only NY Makeup Show, Sr. Educator Val Hernandez taught a bridal class to students, educators and world-class makeup artists. It was great, or as they say in Bologna, è stato grande.
Show up for beauty
For Summer, we have two more shows lined up, one in Pasadena on June 26 – 27 (www.imatsshow.com), and then the big Cosmoprof North America show in Las Vegas on July 18 – 20. This business-to-business show promises to bring even more interest as we show anyone who’s interested the way to Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics. And that’s molto buono!

Color me HOT!
Color me HOT!
It started this Spring and is promising to continue into the Summer. We’re talking about eye-popping looks. Try some summery shades like orange-copper, for a touch of shimmer, mixed with the unexpectedness of a dark, smoky gray.
Dare to be bold and different instead of going with the same colors you usually wear. If you’re into pinks, try blue instead. Bat your eyes in shimmering shadows that are rich in tone.
For your face, go for a bronzer like Mineral Radiance Moisture Tint in Golden Sun. It’s perfect for illuminating medium to deep skin, and creating a flawlessly sexy look.
Kiss your lips in hot pinks and deep reds. Burnt oranges, browns and, yes bronzes, are something to truly pucker up about.

Face the Sun
Healthy skin begins with proper sun protection, and Youngblood does it naturally with titanium dioxide, a natural sun protectant that physically blocks aging (UVA) and burning (UVB) rays. Our Natural Mineral Foundation has titanium dioxide as its number one ingredient. Our new tinted moisturizer contains this sun filter, too.
Mineral Radiance Moisture Tint, with its barely-there coverage — perfect for Summer — also features free-radical fighting antioxidants kiwi and vitamin E, absolutely essential in keeping skin strong, especially during hot Summer months.
As a reminder, Mineral Radiance Moisture Tint is available in Natural (a little bare), Warm (cool brown), Tan (toasty bronze) and Golden Sun (soft, shimmering gold).

The eyes of Summer
The eyes are the windows to the soul. So we say, make sure they have great window dressings! Like thick, luxurious lashes.
This Summer, Youngblood has two different shades to extend your lashes lusciously. And with the purchase of 1 Sable and 1 Onyx Mascara, you’ll receive a FREE Luxurious Brow/Lash Brush. So you can softly frame your eyes in brown or exotically in black then comb through lashes for perfectly separated fringe.
Available through June 30.

Take it from a pro who knows...
Celebrity makeup artist, Melissa Walsh, has painted the faces of everyone from media personality Lauren Sanchez to musical legend Sting. This London-born beauty guru knows what works, and Youngblood is proudly part of her bag of “tricks.” Here, she gives us the scoop on her recent projects featuring Youngblood:
I recently worked on a fashion shoot for Italian Cosmopolitan in the desert, and the look was glowing and gorgeous. Luckily, I had my Youngblood Cosmetics with me. Not only was I able to create very natural-looking, radiant skin with the Hi-Definition Hydrating Mineral Perfecting Powder, but I was also able to highlight the model’s face and entire body with Lunar Dust in Sunset. I also used the same products on Terri Seymour for the “American Idol Finale”, so she looked beautiful from the show all the way to the party!
