We're in the middle of a beautiful Fall season. As we head
toward the holidays and Winter, I would like to share with you some of my
favorite products to recreate a classic, yet elegant look.
First and foremost I want to remind you all just how important
appropriate skin care is, especially as the temperatures get colder and the air
gets drier. These months can be a little harsh on our skin. Always begin with a
good moisturizer.
After your favorite skin
care regime, start all makeup applications with our exceptionally
lightweight
Mineral Primer.
Not only is it a great antioxidant, but it also feels amazing
on the skin. It helps control shine, diffuse the appearance of fine lines and large
pores AND enhances the performance of your makeup, creating a smooth
pre-foundation surface.
Next, select your
foundation. Let me re-introduce our
Liquid Mineral Foundation. It's
the perfect compliment to our Mineral Primer. Your skin will look and feel
hydrated.
I
recommend setting with our very latest:

I just can't get enough of this product. It locks in all the
goodness from our Primer and our Liquid Foundation because its multi-tasking
powder locks in moisture, absorbs oil, and helps keep skin nice and refreshed.
Depending
on whether this is for daytime or evening you can opt to dust a light layer of
our famous
Loose Mineral Foundation for
that super fancy flawless Youngblood
look. Then, dust another light layer of Hi-Def Powder and you can move onto
colors.
Next
is the contour. A very simple yet effect technique that I live by involves
coffee, coffee,
coffee. It's a perfectly natural contour shade and can be used around the
hairline, to contour cheeks, the chin, and nose. Top it with our
Mineral Radiance in Sundance. I
prefer to use the colors separately with the lighter color applied right above the
cheekbone and the darker color below the cheekbone. Follow with a soft blush to
accentuate your lashes. In fact, use our blackest black eyeliner in a very thin
line right along the lash line, and finish with our
Onyx mascara.
Eyes should be soft and simple. Use a light shade all over
lids (fair-medium skin...
Alabaster; medium-dark....
Coco) then follow with a
medium shade for the contour. Now, dare to bare a rich beautiful lip shade like
Fall Statement
Vixen, Bistro, Kranberry, or Vivid.
I like to save my brows for last and for this particular look
I would go with a defined brow. The Youngblood
